Air Pollution Control System (APCS) – Design for Dust Collector, Wet Scrubber, ESP & Fuel Burning Equipment

We design APCS solutions that control particulate, fumes, acid mists, smoke, and combustion-related emissions while fitting your process and regulatory requirements. Our engineering includes load assessment, airflow and contaminant characterization, technology selection (bag filter, cyclone, wet scrubber, ESP, or hybrid systems), and system sizing for required capture and removal efficiency. We address critical design factors such as inlet distribution, gas temperature and moisture, pressure drop, fan selection, re-entrainment risk, liquid-to-gas ratio for scrubbers, electrical field considerations for ESPs, and ash/sludge handling.

For fuel burning equipment, we consider flue gas characteristics, chimney fundamentals, and integration with monitoring points. Deliverables include design basis, calculations, datasheets, drawings, and commissioning/test requirements.
